The O.M.P CD has been released on april 4th & the release concert has been an incredible success, even the tg3 Lazio came & took a shot & sent it on the local tv news the next day. After that I’ve tried to really organize a super show for the gigs we did in june. Ginevra from Shakty –Style, did the costumes & Hudesa Kaganow arranged the scenography on stage. Diego Giuliani constructed a huge OMP sculpture! We’ve started working with our own sound and light technician & that has made a difference; finally I could go wild with appropriate lighting systems that allowed us to create a colour composition during the show. It really has been a lot of fun!!! At the Esperanto Festival we got a recognition for best indipendent production in 2004! The record seems to be doing well. It has been playing on different radios & I have been doing interviews here & there (Rai 1 & 3, Radio Citta’ Futura). I meant to announce them on the site, but those of you who know me, are aware that I am always a little slow in being on top of business?..I’ll catch up in the future! The gig for ARCHEOJAZZ has been filmed & will be available on the web in autumn on www.jazznet.it ! “La-La-La” has been selected as a track from the cd to be included in a compilation that will come out in august with Jazz Magazine & an interview that I gave. The album came out too late to be more part of the summerfestival scene, so we’re working on the next season. End of september we’ll be doing “things” (stage, open rehearsal & concert) at the Cinecitta’ Campus. What else? Well...for those of you who care, I broke my foot...so I missed several flamenco stages...instead I do french conversation... Ok, amigos, that’s it for now... Enjoy the heat... bisous c. |
